As I talked last week (read it here) January’s Challenge is Me Time.

Last week I admit, I couldn’t think of anything I did for myself a couple of the days because all four of my kids are currently sick. Upper respiratory Infections – cue a couple days of me writing “hot shower” for the only things I could squeeze in for Me Time which was honestly to wash off any germs the kids gave me and 5 minutes of peace. Thankfully they are all on the mend and I *so far* have zero symptoms for said sickness.

My list isn’t all that exciting this week on for Me Time but #reallife.

    • put on a facemask and ate chocolate while reading a book. I have this one, but I really want to try this charcoal mask.
    • cleaned the house while listening to a book on Audible while the kids rested and watched a movie
    • hot showers- on more than one night!
    • lifted weights with my husband- it’s been 3 days and I still can’t walk without hurting

I have also been trying to keep up with writing out affirmations and a thankful list each night, even during weeks like this with sick kids and exhaustion. Things could always be worse.
