3 Ways to Save While Shopping for Christmas

Ebates. If you haven’t heard of Ebates it’s a website you log into before you online shop and you earn cash back on purchases. They also show you the current coupons available and the current cash back percentage.! I just logged on and have actually been a member since 2013! Last year I earned $40.25 through the Holiday season and this year I have earned 55.41!
Swagbucks – You can use it the same as Ebates to purchase from retailers but instead of receiving a percentage you earn points per dollar spent. Once you hit so many points you can redeem for giftcards. You don’t just have to make purchases to earn points though, you can also can run videos, take surveys, and play games. This is great to do throughout the year, not just for Christmas, especially since you don’t have to just purchase things to earn giftcards.
Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial– This year was actually our second year with Amazon Prime, but we decided to sign up for the free 30 trial to get free 2 day shipping on Christmas Presents and then ended up making the decision to go ahead and pay the yearly fee. It has saved tons of time AND shipping cost, but if you do not have the $119 to pay for Amazon Prime, signing up for the 30 day trial is a great way to still take advantage of the free 2 day shipping, stream prime movies/shows, and of course the savings that Amazon itself provides!
I do hope this helps you save money when online shopping. Even the small amounts you can earn with Ebates and Swagbucks add up! It only takes an extra 30 seconds to go through either of those sites, and I’ve actually use and earn from both for the last few years!
