Spread the love

With the holidays coming up it means there is more time to read! I mean, I can’t be the only person who thinks like that!

I’ve hit a stride of good reads these last two month and wanted to share in time for you to get your hands on a few before the holidays come!

This post contains affiliated links to the books mentioned. If you purchase through them I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you.

Elizabeth Is Missing.
International Bestseller

Within the first couple chapters you realize she is starting to lose her memory. She doesn’t completely realize it with all her post it notes, but the one thing she does know is that Elizabeth is missing. The storyline also flashbacks to teenage years.

A mystery and personally, a new perspective (for me) on those families that deal with memory loss.

Capital Gaines:Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff

As shown, I listened to this book on audible. SO good. Not only is it a behind the scenes look at Chip and Joanna’s history, but it shows Chip’s philosophy on learning through just jumping in and figuring things out and be okay with failing at times.

High Performance Habits
Brendon Burchard

I am almost finished with this book! I’ve been purposely going through it slow just so I can soak in the knowledge that this book has. I think it is a great read here at the end of the year because it will probably motivate you to kick start your year strong. It is full of real life examples, tangible tips and adaptable principles to make your life better.

The Alice Network
Kate Quinn

This is a Historical Novel. I didn’t realize this until seeing and reading the citations in the back of the book. After realize that it rocked me a little more. A book I couldn’t put down even when it made me cry. A mysterious page turner both funny and heartbreaking.
A must read!

The Life Intended
Kristin Harmel

This is another good book, sad but you still hold out hope for Kate throughout the story. Kate lost her husband ten years ago, but now that is  engaged to another man, she starts to have vivid dreams of the the life she was “meant” to have with her late husband. She has to figure out what her dreams mean, if there are any truth to them, and how she needs to move on with her life.
