I was just sooo tired. I mean, I have 4 kids: 7 and under but this was beyond the normal “I didn’t get enough sleep last night” kind of tired. But gosh it was so much more than that. Waking up exhausted everyday became a normal feeling. I relied on coffee way too much – I even had a couple conversations with my sister, who had given up coffee for 12 whole weeks! and the benefits she felt from it.

My husband had made a few comments over the past few months about concentration, but goodness – with 4 kids IT IS hard to concentrate at times! Constantly being tired also plays into my mood and how I interact with him and my children.
It was about 2 months ago that I made a comment to him about the 9 hours of sleep I had the night before and how there was no reason that I should feel like I only slept two.
Thanks to some research on his part he brought home some Iron and Magnesium to try. (I was still taking my prenatal).
Within 3 days I already felt better. I had a brain fog I honestly wasn’t even aware of. And my sleep! I seriously hadn’t slept better since before Theo was born. And when he did wake up (and still does), I actually can fully wake up… It’s been about 6 weeks now and still feeling really great and I usually notice the next day if I forgot to take my vitamins.
