Today was a super easy freezer cooking day – I just seasoned some extra chicken, and popped it into the oven alongside dinner.
I let it cool while we ate and then shredded for the freezer! Using this method of freezer cooking makes life just that much easier!
Having our protein cooked (beans, chicken, ground beef) and in the freezer already will dramatically cut down the cooking time in the future.
Lightly seasoned (my preference is salt, pepper, and garlic powder) means it’s seasoned, but can be easily adapted to whatever meal you need it for. As far as shredded chicken anything from chicken noodle soup to enchiladas to quesadillas to baked potatoes topped with BBQ chicken.
