Day four of the Fill Your Freezer February challenge. Yesterday I made a roasted garlic and red pepper sauce.
It is the same sauce that I use in my Roasted Red Pepper Pasta recipe. But you can read a full tutorial on how to make the red pepper sauce itself, click here. You can use the red pepper sauce to add a different flavor to your pizza or simply use as a dipping sauce too!
I mentioned a few posts back about being on a food allergy elimination and how I have been trying out new recipes. My daughter specifically asked if I could make this red pepper sauce to try it as a dipping with a couple of the different recipes.

Her request was timely, since my kids asked for me to buy them peppers only for them to refuse to eat them each time I laid them out for a meal 😉 I know I am not the only mom that happens to!

Tip: If you cut them on a diagonal it saves time and makes less mess of the seeds!
I went ahead and cut up the rest of the peppers I had and also a bulb of garlic. Drizzled with avocado oil, a little salt, some fresh ground pepper, and roasted until edges were brown which was just under an hour. I checked and stirred the red peppers twice during that time.

After it cooled I blended it with a few tablespoons of water and tada!

Happy freezer cooking!
