This is another family favorite snack (or dessert) to fill your freezer with! Did you miss yesterday’s freezer snack post?
I’ve been making these for years and years! It is easy to change up flavors by adding things like nuts, cranberries, flavored chocolate chips, etc.
My kids call these chocolate balls. Pinterest calls them energy balls/energy bites.
I made a chocolate cranberry flavor today! And since I know the kids will excited to dig in to these since it has been awhile since making a batch to fill the freezer with, I tripled the recipe!
Using pantry staple ingredients make this an easy and quick snack! It also makes me happy to be able to make a large batch knowing it can save me time later and won’t go to waste because it is freezer friendly.
Peanut butter, quick oats, honey, coconut flakes, chocolate chips, and cranberries. (Many times I will add things like chia seeds or flax seed to add nutrients.)
Mix it all in a bowl, put it in the fridge for 30 minutes and form balls, flash freeze for 1 hour, and add to a gallon freezer bag!
