It has been a minute since I’ve made time to sit down and write on here. And I thought by jumping back in I should start with big family news: Baby #5 is coming!

pregnancy announcement
11 weeks. Baby #5.

I’ve started to be open with the people around us and I have touched on the subject of our infertility and miscarriages on social media some, but I honestly wasn’t sure we would get make another baby announcement. With this pregnancy we waited to even tell some of our family until I had my first appointment at 11 week and without any signs of complications.

Our children our happy for another little brother or sister and refer to it as “our baby.” I’m almost 15 weeks at there have been no signs of complications, and of course the worst pregnancy symptoms of all of my pregnancies 😉 I am a lucky one with all day/all night nausea, extreme tiredness (does anyone not?!), and migraines.

nausea ease

I was quite surprised how well these nausea drops worked. I stay clear of things like Sprite or Ginger Ale due to the amount of sugar content, simply because my body isn’t used to that much sugar on a regular basis, so these were helpful. The are individual wrapped and are like a cough drop.

Baby #5 is due the first week of December! I really, really don’t want to find out the gender since this very well could be our last baby and I think it would be a true surprise.{We already have 2 girls and 2 boys} Hubby on the other hand disagrees with waiting until birth 🙂

Cravings:
Spicy items and fruit- first it was smoothies, but lately it’s been grapefruits!

Weight gain:
I’m not an active weight tracker (I just pay attention at DR appointments) but I think around 5lbs.

Names:
No idea yet!

I do have to say I’m thankful to be able to get through summer without being too far along, because I’ve been there and it’s not fun!
