I always get questions on my kitchen days when I share my Instant Pot Bone Broth. You can use a slow cooker to make bone broth, but since getting the Instant Pot a couple Christmas’ ago, it makes it so much faster!

September means it’s officially Fall, right? Which means cooler weather, boots, and all things pumpkin! Today I wanted to share how I used my Instant Pot recently to make Homemade Pumpkin Puree!
Super excited to say that these pie pumpkins grew in my garden this year! Pairing that with my favorite ‘easy button’ kitchen tool, my Instant Pot, made the pumpkin puree easy, super quick,and mostly hands off!

February Challenge: Fill Your Freezer Update
These monthly challenges were created to help me actually achieve my Goals /New Years Resolutions for 2018. Fill Your Freezer helps me stay in our grocery budget, keeps us from the drive through, and as we all know, healthier! Not only am I teaching my kids to cook but I’m jumping in and learning things I’ve been too scared to try and finding new foods that we enjoy. Easy Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
This sauce is so, so good! My kids actually requested Red Pepper Pasta for dinner the other night, and since we are doing Fill Your Freezer February I figured I might as well put some away in the freezer while I was at it! It’s not spicy, but feel free to add red pepper flakes if you like some spice!
Chicken Apple Pecan Feta Salad with an Easy Vinaigrette
To be honest I’m really not one to eat a meat-fruit combo (ea. Hawaiian pizza, fish tacos with mango salsa) but this salad has started to question if I have been being weird all my life 🙂
Note:. I love a big salad, but my husband always tells me I make more than he can eat, so may feed 2 people 😉

Today I have a new take on pasta night! I was pleasantly surprised when I made this the first time that it was a hit with everyone, the kids even had seconds!
