February Challenge: Freezer Cooking Week Three

This week freezer cooking was a mixture of favorites and new recipes, so a fun week! You can read the other updates this month HERE (and grab a FREE printable), Week One, and Week Two. There are so many ways and methods to Freezer Cooking. Taking this month to bulk up the freezer will help over the next couple of months and then I can slowly add in more or replace what we eat which helps save on time, menu planning, and our health!

Day 15: Baked Oatmeal

Day 16:  I forgot to write down what I did! We ended up down the rabbit hole also called Monopoly and ended up playing for 4 HOURS! So honestly I’m not sure anything went into the freezer.

Day 17: double batch of energy balls. I used a mixture of regular and white chocolate chips = so yummy! I haven’t made these in a long time and we’ve a been devouring them,… AKA almost gone already! Silicone Baking Sheetmakes flash freezing so easy- no sticking!

Day 18: Theo turned ONE! We made Blueberry Muffins to celebrate and I froze the leftovers. I  found this recipe via Pinterest and added it to my  FOOD – Made & Liked Board on Pinterest, you can hop on her and check out the other recipe I have made and my family likes! I always use reusable silicone Muffin tins!

Day 19: Made Sourdough Banana Bread – oh, so good!!

Day 20: smoothie prep. Frozen some fresh, ripe fruit and kale. A lot of times buying in season /on sale fruit and freezing when ripe ends up being cheaper than buying the bags of frozen fruit. I do it when I can, but I also buy big bags of frozen fruit from Costco!

Day 21: Used my Instant Pot to cook beans.
