It probably was the snow falling that made me want to bake again! . I use my tried and true Grandma Dee’s A to Z bread recipe and with the help of parchment paper baked them into bars instead of a loaf pan!

After baking I let them completely cool before cutting. I also reused the parchment paper in my freezer container so I will be able to pull a few bars out at a time without them sticking together.

Tip: Label plastic containers with a dry erase marker!

We will use these as a snack, lunch ‘dessert,’ or as a breakfast side.
