I started out with good intentions yesterday. It slowly went downhill- bad attitudes during homeschool, baby blow out, broken phone- it ended with me taking a bath, crying and going to bed. What does this have to do with freezer cooking you ask? Having a Monday-iest Monday would have been the perfect example on WHY having a well stocked freezer full of meals would have been helpful on a like yesterday!
I have annually blogged through each February (clicking here will taking you through ALL the Fill Your Freezer February series of the past years!) to share ideas and helpful tips on how freezer cooking can help moms! No matter what season of life you are in, we all get into ruts, have rough days, and have time constraints. Those things can easily become excuses on why we choose unhealthy foods, or take out too many times in a row, but all those excuses leads us into bigger issues. (Money and health issues!)
February 1st intentions were to bake bread and make 2 french toast bakes. One for the breakfast tomorrow morning and one for the freezer. The bread did get baked, but the cooking didn’t happen- yet! I plan to finish those up today.
After I was done crying last night I decide to go ahead with a new plan for today. I soaked beans before climbing, exhausted into bed. Tomorrow is a new day. That’s just how it goes some days.
