I feel I’ve made a bunch of snacks for Fill Your Freezer February, but I know wants this snow and cold snap breaks my kids will be back to playing outside and enjoying our nature walks. In return that means they’re always hungry!
By having healthy, homemade snacks at the ready it keeps my frustration down by not hearing “I’m hungry” multiple times a day!
I made a large batch of my Grandma Dee’s A to Z bread (banana!). Does your family do through banana phases? I kept not buying enough, and then bought extra banana bundles only for my family to decide they’ve had their fill and the bananas all turn brown?
That’s okay! I cut one bundle up for the freezer to make smoothies in the future and another large bundle got turning into banana bread!
I like muffins because they’re pre portioned, but lately I have been making loaves, but pre-slicing before freezing and that has been so helpful too!
I also have a YouTube video sharing Grandma Dee’s bread and I turned some into banana bread bars!

Oh, how I wish you could smell my kitchen right now!
